The Philosophy

Shape, not size.

The Maroon Door Signature Lip is defined by its shape. Rather than adding volume from the front, filler is placed to lift, creating vertical height, a flat side profile and a crisp, sculpted border.

Each treatment is planned to the proportions of your face and placed by me, Toni Maree Gelling, registered nurse injector. The approach is considered, precise and tailored entirely to you.

It is delivered across two appointments: the treatment itself, then a refinement once the lips have settled.

The Treatment

Two visits, one plan.

The Maroon Door Signature Lip

Your first appointment. A complimentary consultation, followed by treatment placed to your proportions. $550.

The Refinement

Two to three weeks later, once the lips have settled. A considered review, with fine adjustment where needed. $100.

Lip Reset

For filler placed elsewhere. Following consultation, existing product is dissolved so we can begin again from your natural lip. $250.

The Detail

Lip filler,
explained.

What it is. A hyaluronic acid dermal filler, placed by fine injection. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin, where it supports hydration and structure.

The appointment. Around 30 minutes, unhurried. Numbing cream is applied first, and the filler itself contains a local anaesthetic for comfort.

Afterwards. Mild swelling and tenderness settle over several days. Most clients return to their usual routine the same day.

Suited to. Adults seeking shape, definition and proportion rather than size. Suitability is always confirmed at consultation.

The Technique

Lip filler is only as refined as the hand that places it. The lips sit close to important blood vessels, so depth, placement and product choice call for precision and a thorough understanding of facial anatomy.

Every Signature Lip is placed by a registered nurse injector, following a full medical history and a careful assessment of your proportions. The focus throughout is accuracy, consistency and your safety.

Your goals, proportions and medical history are reviewed in a private, unhurried consultation, and a plan is agreed together. There is no obligation to proceed.

Numbing cream is applied first, and the filler contains a local anaesthetic. Placement is precise and deliberate.

Aftercare

Swelling settles over several days. You leave with written aftercare and your refinement appointment booked.

What makes it different?
The Maroon Door Signature Lip prioritises shape over size. Filler is placed to lift rather than inflate, creating vertical height, a flat side profile and a crisp, defined border.
How much is lip filler?
The Maroon Door Signature Lip is $550 for your first appointment, and the refinement two to three weeks later is $100. Your consultation is complimentary.
Will it look overdone?
The approach is deliberately conservative. Your plan is agreed together at consultation, and the refinement appointment allows for fine adjustment rather than excess on the day.
How long does it last?
Longevity varies from person to person. Most clients return within six to twelve months, and we discuss what to expect for you at consultation.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe it as brief discomfort. Numbing cream is applied first, and the filler contains a local anaesthetic.
How much downtime?
Mild swelling and tenderness are common for a few days. Most clients return to their usual routine the same day.
When will I see the shape?
The shape is visible straight away and settles over the following two weeks, which is why the refinement appointment follows.
Is it suitable for everyone?
Not always. Treatment is not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with an active cold sore or infection near the lips. Your medical history is reviewed at consultation.
Can it be combined?
Yes. Lip filler is often planned alongside anti-wrinkle injections or skin treatments, and the order is agreed at consultation.
Can you dissolve old filler?
Yes. The Lip Reset is $250 and always follows a consultation, so existing filler can be properly assessed first.
